Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the CleanSlate DFS mobile application and website at cleanslatedfs.com (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Nature of the Service (Analytical Tool Only)

CleanSlate DFS is an independent statistical modeling, algorithmic analysis, and workflow optimization software designed to assist users in evaluating player projections, correlation metrics, and mathematical roster construction for daily fantasy sports (DFS) contests.

• CleanSlate DFS does not accept, facilitate, or place bets, wagers, or real-money contest entries.
• CleanSlate DFS does not hold, manage, process, or distribute player deposits, funds, or contest prize pools.
• The Service is intended strictly for informational, educational, and analytical entertainment purposes.

2. Third-Party Trademarks & Non-Affiliation Disclaimer

DraftKings, FanDuel, Yahoo!, the National Football League (NFL), the National Basketball Association (NBA), Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Hockey League (NHL), the PGA Tour, and all associated team names, logos, and player likenesses are registered trademarks of their respective owners.

• No Endorsement: CleanSlate DFS is an independent software application and is not affiliated with, associated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by DraftKings, FanDuel, the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, PGA Tour, or any sports league, franchise, or professional athlete.
• Nominative Compatibility: References to contest rules, scoring formats, positions, salaries, and rosters are used solely for descriptive, nominative fair-use purposes to ensure analytical compatibility with standard public contest formats.

3. No Guarantee of Contest Success or Financial Returns

Daily fantasy sports contests and athletic events involve substantial randomness, injury risk, and variance. Projections, optimal lineups, and diagnostic metrics (such as the Slate Optimal Efficiency score) provided by the Service are algorithmic estimates based on statistical models. They do not constitute financial, investment, or wagering advice.

You acknowledge and agree that your participation in any third-party fantasy sports contest is conducted solely at your own risk. CleanSlate DFS, LLC does not guarantee that using the Service will result in winning contests, earning financial returns, or hitting specific scoring targets. The Company is not responsible for contest losses, entry fees, or financial outcomes resulting from decisions made using the Service.

4. Subscriptions, In-App Purchases, and Billing

• Billing & Renewals: Paid subscription tiers (such as Casual and Pro tiers) purchased via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are processed and managed directly by Apple or Google under their respective terms. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to renewal.
• Cancellations & Refunds: You may cancel your subscription at any time within your Apple ID or Google Play Store subscription management dashboard. Refund requests for mobile in-app purchases are subject to the policies of Apple and Google and must be submitted directly through their respective platform stores.

5. Acceptable Use & Intellectual Property

All software code, mathematical models, lineup generation algorithms, user interfaces, branding, and proprietary diagnostics are the exclusive intellectual property of CleanSlate DFS, LLC. You agree that you will not reverse engineer, decompile, crawl, scrape, redistribute, or resell any software components, mathematical outputs, or account credentials without express prior written consent.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLEANSLATE DFS, LLC, ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, CONTEST LOSSES, ENTRY FEES, OR TECHNICAL DOWNTIME AROUND CONTEST LOCKS.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in state or federal courts located in the State of Michigan.
